We are pleased to invite you to the 51st EUHOFA International Congress in Bruges and Koksijde, two cities in the north of Flanders (Belgium). Hotel- en Toerismeschool Spermalie, in Bruges, and Hotelschool Ter Duinen, in Koksijde, are honoured to host the event. Both these internationally renowned schools enjoy an excellent reputation for the quality of their teaching and training.
Bruges is one of the most romantic cities in Europe and a must-see for visitors to Belgium. It has a rich history and its medieval centre is on the Unesco World Heritage list. Koksijde is a magnificent seaside resort situated on the North Sea coast. It is known for its shrimpers on horseback and its fishery folklore is still very much alive.
The Bruges - Koksijde congress team believes the theme of the EUHOFA Congress 2012, “Motivation in the hospitality industry: from the bottom to the top”, will enlighten and challenge you. Topics covering the motivation of students, staff and management, presided over by Professor Annick Van Rossem, will receive special attention.
With all the hard work, you will deserve some relaxation. We will be inviting you to discover Bruges in an original way and we will visit the Belgian coast and the hinterlands to explore Belgium’s war history. All guests will stay in the charming ‘Grand Hotel Casselbergh’, situated in the heart of Bruges’ historical centre.
We are looking forward to welcoming you.
On behalf of the congress organizing team:
* Filiep Defraye, Hotel- en Toerismeschool Spermalie, General Director
* Sonja Saelaert, Hotel- en Toerismeschool Spermalie, Director of Adult Education, President of the Congress
